Goodfellow Unit: Sex, desire and function: Assessment, management and referral

This practical session will explore common sexual concerns presenting in primary care, the role of sex therapy, and when referral is indicated.

Through case studies, attendees will develop confidence in assessing sexual concerns, providing patient education, and recognising which presentations can be managed in primary care and which require specialist referral. Current topics, including increasing requests for testosterone for low libido, will be examined within a biopsychosocial framework.
