Intimate partner violence (IPV) training
The IPV training provided by MEDSAC aims to provide accessible education, information and advice for primary healthcare professionals to enable, and support them to recognise and respond to intimate partner violence.
The training is available to all healthcare professionals working in:
- Primary health organisations (PHOs)
- General practices
- Sexual abuse assessment and treatment services (SAATS)
- Non-fatal strangulation/suffocation assessment services (NFSSAS)
You don’t need to be a MEDSAC affiliate or associate to access the course.

Vulvovaginal Disorders
A Pathway to Diagnosis and Treatment
This is a free, evidence-based program providing healthcare professionals with a structured approach to diagnosing and managing vulvovaginal disorders. Designed for clinicians across multiple disciplines, the program includes a diagnostic algorithm, a colour atlas of vulvar conditions, microscopy and testing guides, and modules on vulvar pain and treatment strategies.
Resources include patient handouts and up-to-date research to support clinical practice. This program is freely available to enhance education and improve patient outcomes in vulvovaginal health.
