Ring Pessary Training

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) occurs when pelvic organs, such as the uterus, bladder, or bowel, move out of position due to weakened support structures. Symptoms may include a feeling of pressure, lower back pain, and urinary or bowel problems. Vaginal pessaries are often used as a non-surgical method to manage these symptoms by supporting the affected organs.

This module provides healthcare professionals with theoretical knowledge for managing the ongoing care of vaginal ring pessary users. This training module does not include initial pessary fitting.
